Boat Charter
Chartering a boat for a fishing trip or just a sunset champagne cruise
around the south coast bays isn’t as expensive as you may think
especially if you are with a group of friends. We highly recommend a picnic
on Les Echrous, an off shore reef between Jersey and France - see under
Natural Jersey for information.

Tarka Sea Trips offer some of
the best sea fishing to be had in the British Isles if not Europe from
thier 12 person boat Theseus II. Trips can include wreck fishing, full
days including lunch and evening trips.
Surfing
Jersey is blessed in having one of Europe’s best surfing beaches,
the five mile St Ouens Bay. This beach has numerous surf shops and surf
schools and the always great beach café Big Verns. If you swim
on this beach make sure you are in-between the flags of the lifeguard
stations as the waves and currents can be big. If you have never surfed
have a lesson you’ll love it. If you’re already a great surfer,
get ready for a good day.

Jet Skiing
With all the fun taken out of driving these days there is no better way
for a speed junky to have fun than on the water with a jet ski. With St
Aubin's Bay you have a vast space of water enclosed on three sides by
land proving a perfect venue to enjoy these toys

Fishing
We don’t really need to say much - if you like fishing you’ll
love island life. Charter boats fish the wrecks, reefs and off-shore sandbanks
creating some of the best angling in the British Isles.

Scuba Diving
With clear waters, abundant
marine life, numerous wrecks from the treacherous rocks and Second World
War, Jersey has recently become a playground for divers. there are many
wrecks known to be lying undiscovered in Jersey waters. There are several

Kayaking
Gorey Beach and St Brelade's
Bay both have kayaks for hire. Kayaking is a great way to explore the
coast and rock pools at your own gentle pace. At St Ouens Bay you can
also hire surf Kayaks to enjoy the waves.

Water Skiing/Wakeboarding /Wind Surfing
There are three bays around
Jersey where you can pay and ski - St Aubins, St Brelades and Gorey. Of
the three for pure skiing St Aubins is the best but if you want a great
sandy beach to lie on in between tows St Brelades is the choice and also
offers windsurfers for hire.

Kite Surfing
No matter what the wind direction there is always a bay with the right
